Job Responsibilities

• Hands-on with system design, data structures, relational and NoSQL databases, RESTful web services, Object Oriented Design and Patterns, handling scale

• Experience with Java-based web frameworks such as Spring Boot, Play, Dropwizard, or Java EE

• Experience in developing RESTful web services

• Experience in working with relational databases

• Coding skills in Java coupled with a strong base in object-oriented design, functional programming and development

• Experience in distributed system design and microservices

• Exposure to messaging queues such as RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka

• Excellent problem-solving skills and understanding of Object Oriented Design and Patterns - GoF, anyone?

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Hands on experience with UI frameworks - React or Angular

• Working experience with Docker/ Kubernetes on AWS or any other cloud provider
